The thickest plank NFD makes at 5mm, and the only one in their range with an acoustic backing built into the board rather than a separate underlay. Twenty-two colours across oak, spotted gum and blackbutt, on a 1524mm plank with a 0.5mm wear layer, fibreglass reinforced and FloorScore certified.

Where it doesn’t suit
The acoustic backing is the reason to choose this over the rest of the range, and it only earns its keep in the right building — an upstairs apartment, a strata block with an acoustic clause in the by-laws, a second storey over a living room. On a ground-floor slab you are paying for something the concrete already does. Note it is glue-down only: the subfloor has to be flat and dry before anything is stuck to it, and that preparation is real work that quotes sometimes bury. At 5mm it also sits higher than the rest of the range, so check your door clearances and any threshold you are matching into.
