We correct them with self-levelling compounds and screeding, creating the dead-flat, stable base a quality finish depends on — especially for hybrid, timber, laminate and sheet vinyl.

How do I know if my floor needs levelling?
Often you can feel it — dips underfoot, a rocking sensation, or gaps under a straight edge laid across the floor. We check levels precisely at the free measure and tell you whether levelling is needed for the floor you've chosen.
Can you level a floor before installing hybrid or vinyl?
Yes, and for those products it's often essential. Floating floors like hybrid, and thin sheet vinyl, both reveal and are stressed by an uneven base. Getting the substrate flat first is what lets the finished floor look and perform as it should.
