Illusions

Five millimetres on a narrower 177.8mm board, Korean made, with a Semi Wild 2 emboss that runs deeper than most vinyl at this thickness. Twelve colours from pearl through to the dark greys, fibreglass reinforced, P3 slip rated, and it can be laid either glued or loose.

Where it doesn’t suit

The narrow board is the thing to decide on. At 177.8mm this reads as a traditional floorboard rather than the wide-plank look most people arrive asking for, and in a large open-plan room the extra joins can look busy — Cascade or Stella is the wider board if that is what you are after. Where the narrow width earns its place is a hallway, a smaller period room, or anywhere you are matching the scale of existing timber. It takes both loose lay and glue-down, so if this is a rental or an apartment where you may want the floor up again one day, ask us about the loose lay option before you commit to adhesive.
