The longest board in Preference's hybrid line-up. Long boards make an open-plan space read as one continuous floor rather than a series of joins, which is most of the reason to pick this over Iconic. Its colours lean New York — Astoria, Harlem, Soho, Staten Island.

Where it doesn’t suit
Long boards are less forgiving of an uneven subfloor — the longer the plank, the more any dip shows up as a rock or a hollow underfoot. If your slab or particleboard is out, budget for levelling before you commit to these. Worth knowing too that its fire result (CHF 5.3) is the weakest of the five hybrid ranges.
