Korlok
The premium end of hybrid. Karndean builds Korlok on a rigid core like every other hybrid we stock, but gives it a 0.55mm wear layer — roughly double a mid-range hybrid — and the decor detail of a company that has spent fifty years on vinyl rather than on flooring in general. The attached acoustic backing means it goes straight over existing tile without grout lines telegraphing through. Eighteen plank decors and eight stone-look tiles.

Where it doesn’t suit
This is the most expensive floor we stock and for a rental refit it is overkill — a Preference hybrid will look fine and cost far less. Korlok earns its money in a home you intend to stay in, where the difference in embossing and plank variation is something you will notice every day for fifteen years. Also note it is 6.5mm: check your door clearances.
