Karndean Designflooring
Knight Tile Rigid Core
The same twenty-two Knight Tile designs on a 4.5mm rigid board with a click joint, so it floats over what is already there instead of being glued to it. No adhesive, no curing, and in most rooms no need to lift the existing hard floor. This is the cheapest way into Karndean as a hybrid, and the fastest to live on afterwards.

Where it doesn’t suit
The 0.3mm wear layer is the real limit here. It is perfectly sound for a normal household, but it is the thinnest of the three Karndean hybrids and a busy hallway with dogs and a side gate will show it before Korlok's 0.55mm would. The other thing people miss: 4.5mm floating over existing tile raises the finished floor by more than the board is thick once you allow for underlay, so measure your door clearances and any threshold to a wet area before you commit.
