Where it doesn’t suit

Same fibre weight spread over more height is a trade, not a free upgrade: it feels better underfoot and it crushes a little more readily under a heavy sofa leg. For a lounge or bedroom that is the right side of the trade. Under a dining table with chairs that get dragged, it is the wrong side.
