The ranges
Signature wool, heaviest first
Pile weight is what separates these, so they are listed by it rather than alphabetically. Heavier is not automatically better — it is more fibre, which matters in a hallway and is wasted in a spare room.
Alps
A chunky wool loop with 20% khullu yak blended through it, which is the unusual part — yak fibre is finer and silkier than sheep's wool, so the pile has a soft handle without giving up the structure a loop needs.
5 coloursBeck
The same 52oz wool-and-yak blend as Alps at the same 7mm pile, but built as a tighter, finer loop — so it reads as a smoother, more even floor rather than a textured one.
